Pastor Nathan Mains has been married to his wife Jeanne since 1976. The have 2 married daughters, Elizabeth and her husband Matt Horton and Rebecca and her husband Jason Vannest. Pastor Nathan enjoys reading, sports, and wood-working. As our lead teaching pastor, he oversees the focus for each upcoming sermon series and has developed the curriculum for the "Journey Training Modules" at FBC. Pastor Nathan grew up in the West Indies, as the son of missionaries. Pastor Nathan attended Spring Arbor University, where he played on the Soccer Team. Ron Stier joined the pastoral staff of Frankenmuth Bible Church staff in April of 2006. He serves as the Pastor of Missional Community, overseeing our small group ministry, and helping them to focus on their unique mission as they impact the world around them for Jesus Christ. Prior to joining the FBC staff, he spent the previous 27 years on staff with Youth for Christ in Michigan's Thumb. Ron is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint with BA degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Ron has been married to Diane since 1977 and they have 3 children, Luke, Kelly and Garrett. Luke and his wife Sarah live and work in Grand Rapids. Daughter, Kelly is a student in the Honors College at Grand Valley State University. Garrett is a sophomore at Hope College in Holland, where he is on the football and track teams. One of Ron's passions is mission work. He has led several short-term inner-city mission teams as well as, 2 mission teams to Gulfport Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. Ron has also served on mission trips to Grenada, Haiti, and 3 times to Honduras. Ron enjoys just about everything in the out-of-doors. His hobbies include cycling and sailing. Diane Stier is our Director of Worship Arts. Diane joined the staff of FBC in February of 2004, and oversees music, drama, and dance for all aspects of worship at FBC. Diane is a true worshiper. Diane has been a leader in music for most of her life, including playing music in the church since she was 12, being out front in her high school marching band as the drum majorette, and overseeing a youth band and drama team for 15 years with Youth for Christ. Diane loves to work with others, and has built a dynamic team of passionate and talented musicians and singers. She has been married to Ron since 1977 and is a great mom to Luke, Kelly and Garrett. Some of Diane’s other interests are reading, cycling, sailing and spending time with her children. John Patnode joined the FBC staff in August of 2009. He has been involved in youth ministry for the past several years and most recently was the youth pastor at his home church Village Evangelical Free in Maple Plain, Minnesota. John and Anna have been married since May 18, 2007 and have one beautiful baby girl. John is a graduate of Crown College with a major in youth ministry, also a minor in pastoral leadership and Christian studies. While at Crown John was involved in various programs and activities including the Crown College baseball team where he was captain 3 of his 4 years on the team and being on many different worship teams. John oversees the junior high and high school student ministries of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

Dave Martin joined the Frankenmuth Bible Church staff in March of 2007. Dave and Mindy have been married since May, 17, 2002 and have 3 wonderful boys, Brady, Max, and Gavin. Dave is a graduate of Baptist Bible College with a BS in Bible and Specialized Ministries and is currently near completion of his Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Liberty University. Dave splits his time with FBC and the Crossroads Counseling Center in Frankenmuth. Dave has been involved in various youth ministries since 2002, including three years as a youth pastor in Portland, MI, before joining our staff to oversee our Jr. High and High School Youth Ministry. Dave currently oversees all aspects of our Children’s Ministry here at Frankenmuth Bible Church, including Sonshine Station Children’s Ministry on Sunday Morning and our AWANA Children’s Clubs on Wednesday Evening. Mary Lou Bender (on left) is our office manager and is married to Jim. They have 2 children. Lizzie is a student at SVSU and son Andy is married to Maureen and lives in Southeast Michigan. Russ Sherman (on right) is a recent graduate of Saginaw Valley State University. Russ has spent a significant amount of his time in recent years in music ministry and youth ministry at FBC and throughout the surrounding area. Russ has been actively involved in outreach ministry with Youth for Christ and has been a special needs counselor at Spring Hill Camp near Evart, MI. Besides his involvement on the FBC Worship Team, Russ is also very active with FBC's young adult ministry, Crossroads.
