WHO WE ARE & WHY WERE HERE:
We have taken the name Bible Church because we are unshakably convinced that the Bible is Gods book. As such it tells us why we exist and points us to the hope and confidence available regarding the life to come. Because we are committed to the Bible as our only guide for doctrine and living, we remain independent (without denominational affiliation) and major on teaching Gods Word and its practical implications within the reality of how life is. We believe the Bible gives courage and inspiration to face life in all its uncertainties and that it provides practical insights for everyday living.
Frankenmuth Bible Church held its first Sunday Service on the first Sunday in March, 1982 at List Elementary School. After a few years property was bought on Churchgrove and then the building we are utilizing now was built. We believed God wanted us to trust His provision through His people for the financial needs of the ministry, so the land was purchased and the building completed all without debt.

OUR PURPOSE:
Our ultimate purpose is to bring glory to God by doing our part to fulfill Jesus great commission to go and make disciples (Matt 28:18-20). We believe God wants us to make a difference for Him by creating and maintaining an environment where lost people, both here (Frankenmuth and surrounding communities) and abroad, are loved and pursued for Christ. We believe that environment should also establish and nurture believers in their Christian walk (toward Christ like life changes and loving relationships) and in their ministry/service (because the body builds itself up in love as each part does its work).

TARGETED HEART QUALITIES:
In order to accomplish this purpose we believe God wants us to help people develop and deepen seven qualities in their hearts:

  1. A deep desire to know God and to bring Him glory.
  2. A thirst to know and respond to Gods Word.
  3. A love for lost people.
  4. A commitment to relationships
  5. A servants heart
  6. A stewardship mentality
  7. A Sense of their lifes purpose

OUR FOCUS:
We believe that accomplishing the purpose God has given us, including the development of the seven qualities in peoples hearts will happen best when we emphasize:

  1. Expressing meaningful worship and prayer So we want our worship services to move our hearts in a God ward direction and we encourage prayer individually and with others.
  2. Responding to Gods Word So we emphasize relevant Bible teaching regarding how to respond to God in the light of lifes realities.
  3. Reaching lost people Were committed to helping lost people come to know Jesus Christ personally so they can receive the forgiveness of their sins and become children of God who will spend eternity with Him and with His people in heaven.
  4. Developing Godly maturity in children, youth and adults - We start by putting a special emphasis on establishing and maintaining godly marriages and families. We attempt to supplement this by offering Christian education and activities for all ages.
  5. Promoting Biblical community So we are always trying to create contexts for encouragement and relationships where true Christian love is lived out in practical ways. Small groups are one means we utilize.
  6. Equipping and releasing people for ministry Because the body builds itself up in love as each part does its work, we strive to help everyone become connected to vital and meaningful ministry.
  7. Developing leaders We believe that for us to be becoming the people and church God wants us to be, we must be led well. Thats why we strive to develop and release leaders who shepherd, teach, guide, and model what it means to be fully devoted followers of Christ.
